In the installation fragments of nature encounter partially covering textiles and other artificial materials. Tubes and different glass jars evoke a kind of absurd laboratory-like experimental setup with small details. The dominant lime-green stands out from its dark surrounding, reinforcing the contrast between the natural and the artificial, alienating and connecting the different areas at the same time.
The work complex entitled ‘Lime-green realities‘ deals with the relationship between humans and nature in the context of an increasingly changed and influenced world in the age of the Anthropocene.
It raises questions about connections and realities and combines past and possible future approaches to nature in scenarios and installations of a surreal aesthetic which are visualised in various artistic media.
